My Fish

Here's our little frog

The unhappy mommy - she had two babies

I think it's funny you can see a credit card add - we get like two in the mail every day.

Ben cutting our first deer

Ben's cousin was waiting for his Visa or something so he can go on his mission in Brazil. While waiting he ended up getting called to Billings!! "Our missionaries" are zone leaders so they were able to get him over for dinner :) What are the odds?

He is from Colorado, so Ben hadn't been able to see him a whole lot growing up, and hadn't seen him since we've been married - so it was an extra special treat.

Sleding

Daniel had a lot of fun getting out in the snow.

We walked around for a while on our friend's property looking for the right spot to sled.

I am sad to say that I think this is Daniel's first sleding experience. He had fun but I crashed us early on and he got snow all over his face - so he didn't last long.

More picture to Come

My camera ran out of battery so I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted.  I did, however, have mom bring her camera to grandma and grandpa's so pictures are coming.

Such a Wonderful Week!

Last week I was able to visit Walla Walla, my hometown.  Ben had a business trip to South Dakota all week so I took the opportunity to see family.  Mom had frequent flyer miles so we flew in Mon afternoon and left early Sat morning.  Daniel LOVED flying on the plane!!  I was planning on getting a picture of us by a plane on the way home, but my camera ran out of battery.  Daniel loves riding in the plane - he is blessed with ears that aren't bothered by the pressure changes.

Last week was one of the best weeks EVER!!  It would have been even more fun with Ben (it was not so amazing because Ben wasn't there).  It is fun to be with family in the holidays, but it was really fun to hang out not during the holidays.  I had so much fun talking with friends and family about the things that matter most in life.  It was really great to talk with my ballet teacher, talk politics and religion with my dad and brother, visit with a friend I hadn't seen since high school (wish I had a camera to get a picture with her!), and chat with my grandparents that I hadn't seen since last Jan.  All in all it was a fantastic week!

It was also great to go to the temple with my whole family that was there (except Emily is too young) - though it was sad that my dad's recommend had just expired.

Daniel really enjoyed just hanging out and playing with everybody.  He had a great week and when we got home Ben noticed that Daniel was even more animated than usual.

Here's a thanks to everyone I visited in Walla Walla for a great week!

Visiting Walla Walla

Daniel LOVED riding on the lawn mower!! We rode on it at least once a day during our visit (Mon-Fri).

Watching Emily Dance

This is my ballet teacher, Idalee Hutson-Fish. I took ballet from her for ten years! I loved and still love to dance. Thinking about those years of ballet always brings many fond memories.

Now she teaches Emily

Watching the class, I really missed being taught by Ida and moving so gracefully. Watching Ida is so fun - to see her have such elegant control over her body. I wanted to jump in and join the class!

I just love the pig-tails!
I had fun talking with her after class and realized that those many years of ballet influenced other areas of interest later in life.

Watching Emily

Daniel was tired so we did our best to keep him busy

It was so much fun watching my sister dance! In this picture the girl in the pink and the girl in black are a couple of Emily's best friends - "the twins" (they really are twins).

Little Pumkin Sprout!

He loved the frosting on the cupcakes!

He picked out his costume. He calls pumpkins/jack-o-lanterns "mean guy"

Our Missionaries!

Elder Daffer and Elder Wells are some of the coolest missionaries we've had here in Billings. For the past several months we've been having the missionaries over at least once a week. They've gone with us frisbee golfing, play our crazy board/card games, and are just great company!

Painting

This week Daniel has really enjoyed painting!

He did most of this himself. I just did the tail and mane of the horse.

On the way home from Yellowstone we stopped in Boseman.

Daniel just loved this icecream car!

When we got back we got out the train set we got last year at a garage sale. We were going to wait for Christmas, but decided to get it out now. He loves to take apar the track and make a new one.
